Please include the "class" of your unit, ELSA, SLSA, Experimental, FAR103, GA, etc.

I purposely
have retained the ads from some "Sold"
units so that people can see how the market is running. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on how the market is going to respond to the new LSA rules for manufacturers. Check out the May 2007 issue of Aero magazine. Jim has some insight about what prices will be doing this year. I think the verdict is in concerning prices. A recent survey of the leading six PPC companies is showing new retail prices for 2007 ELSAs that are 20% higher than the last two years. Having said that, there are some really good deals in the used PPC market for machines that can qualify as ELSAs. The prices that were advertised last year or two years ago may not reflect the prices of today. Some used units will not be able to pass the FAAs "Airworthiness" inspection and will only be sold as parts at the end of 2007. The other units, that can become N-numbered aircraft, will undoubtedly have higher prices as the retail prices rise due to the LSA manufacturing regulations. In the past couple of days I have been requested to increase the sale price on several ads because the owners are having them FAA registered. In the next few months I expect that all units on this "For Sale" page, like many others, will only have "n-number" planes or "FAR103" listed. Any unit without an n-number or FAR 103 listed should be considered "parts".
All transactions are directly between the Buyer and Seller.
I recently recieved a call from a buyer who was unhappy about his "deal". Apparently the main rails needed replacing. His reason for buying this particular unit was that he "saved" $3,000. How many of us are thinging about how much we saved when we're looking down from 5,000 feet AGL? Let me say again that all sales are strictly between the buyer and seller. I only list the ads and have nothing to do with the sales.
A notice from the EAA web site concerning "ultralights":
Before you buy, EAA's Ultralight Council suggests you contact a local ultralight enthusiast for some valuable advice. Start with your nearest EAA Ultralight Chapter. ASC and USUA clubs have a wealth of knowledge they will share with you ... just ask! Look for a dealer that not only offers a good product, but training, too. Some manufacturers offer comprehensive flight training or can, at least, introduce you to a flight instructor operating under an FAA exemption for two-place training.
Don't be fooled into buying a two-seater thinking it's an ultralight!
You may end up owning an experimental aircraft that can be flown only by an FAA-licensed pilot. The FAA considers two-seaters to be airplanes that don't fall under the Part 103 ultralight regulations. The only exception is for ultralight instruction properly authorized ultralight flight instructors can fly a two-place ultralight for the purpose of flight instruction. Learn about becoming an ultralight flight instructor. If you're interested in buying or building a two-place aircraft, EAA will gladly send you the information needed to operate it legally. EAA can also help you find an FAA-certified Flight Instructor who will work with you to obtain an FAA pilot license, such as the simpler recreational license. The only exception is two-seat ultralight trainers operated by ultralight instructors operating under a two place training exemption.

This Air Boat (more photos) conversion is specifically made for the Destiny PPC. Speed on the water is 35 knots. Drafts about 4" when stopped and only 1-2" when planned off. Notice the removable ramps that allows the PPC to be rolled in, over the bow. This unit is brand new and comes with a galvanized steel trailer. Suggested retail for the package is $7,900. I purchased this unit in the fall of 2006 after tons of research and years of a desire to fly. I wanted a plane that was complete and offered all the possible safety and comfort options. Unfortunately, I just discovered I have 2 torn tendons in my right shoulder and the prognosis is not good. I am going in for surgery in September and at best, my flying days are over for at least a year. So, unfortunately for now, I am selling the plane and all the accessories. I am not interested in splitting them up. There is only 33.6 hours on the plane and it is just as new. In many ways, it is better than new because of all the extras and the work in configuring everything. The motor runs perfectly, it has never been in any type of accident or hard landing.
